Lesedi Cultural Village

Lesedi Cultural Village is a tourist village that celebrates the cultural traditions of several different peoples of Southern Africa.



It reproduces traditional dwellings and offers demonstrations of dances and other cultural activities.

It is located in the heart of the African bush amidst the rocky hills of the Cradle of Humankind, near Johannesburg, in Gauteng, South Africa.

It is a World Heritage Site.



A discovery of the fascinating cultures and traditions of the peoples of Africa by visiting the five traditional farms inhabited by the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele tribes who live according to the tribal folklore and traditions of their ancestors.
